Crystal Computing today proudly announced the availability of Crystal DownLoad, an Internet files downloading tool for Netscape Navigators and Intenet Explorers. With Crystal DownLoad, users can be relieved the burden of waiting in front of their PC’s while a job is downloading. By assigning an Internet Web Site (URL) of interest, users can let Crystal DownLoad do the batch download job, and go ahead to either browse other sites, or even leave the computer for a while. Crystal
Download will automatically download all the files into the subdirectory you assigned. The only limitation for the number of files you can download is your local hard disk space.

This product is so easy to use that in most cases, you only need to click two buttons to activate it, as long as you have the Web site address (URL). You can specify the file types, for example, JPG, AVI, or ZIP you want to download. You can also decide the level of depth Crystal DownLoad is going to search. Once it starts, files within your search range and search type will automatically download into the place you selected.

Crystal DownLoad, Copyright 1996-2002 Pegasus Networks, Inc., has two different versions for Netscape Navigator 4.x browsers and IE 4.x-6.x browsers. You should have Netscape Navigator installed (not necessarily running) on your computer before Crystal DownLoad for Netscape Browsers can work. Similarily, you should have Internet Explorer 4.x-6.x installed on your computer before installing Crystal Download for IE Browsers. The current version runs on Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me/XP, and Windows NT 4.0/2000, Workstations and Servers.

Crystal Download is the first product of Crystal Computing’s Crystal Internet Agents Series. They are also going to announce several Internet Agent software in the near future. In addition to Crystal Download, Crystal Computing is also providing Crystal Internet Merchant System software (CIMS), and an all-in-one economical Internet Server called CrystaLink.
