As business invests in the commercialization of the World Wide Web, firms are beginning to experience dramatic shifts in standard business practices caused by the emergence of a global electronic marketplace. This has given rise to the enormous need to understand the implications of these shifts for strategic initiatives, marketing and advertising, financial markets, information systems strategy, human resource management and supply chain management.
